Rock Wool and Fiberglass Batts
Batt insulation is blanket-like sheets of insulation that are typically installed between studs or posts in a home, they are then covered with drywall or paneling. We offer rock wool and fiberglass batt insulation.
Rock Wool Batt Insulation
Rock Wool batt insulation is a superior insulation material. When compared to fiberglass batts, rock wool batts have a higher r-value per square inch. Rock wool is a stiffer, more dense insulation helping it stay in place better. It is also hydrophobic, meaning it does not absorb moisture, therefore minimizing the growth of mold and mildew. Rock wood batting is also fire resistant.
Fiberglass Batt Insulation
Fiberglass batt insulation is a very popular and affordable insulation option commonly used in many homes. It is a non-combustible material that is lightweight and easy to install. Fiberglass batting can be compressed, which can reduce its r-value.
